The label has always considered dungeon-synth as the ideal soundtrack for role-playing sessions, adventure video games, and fantasy board games. However, it is important to note that HDK did not invent this concept.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">First of <em>Kobold<\/em>&#8216;s productions, <em><strong>Dan J. Schulte<\/strong><\/em>, a musician from Palm Spring, California, had already self-produced a series of ambient albums inspired by classic Dungeons &amp; Dragons adventure modules. His &#8220;Dungeon Trilogy&#8221; features tracks titled after <em>Gary Gygax<\/em> &#8216;s iconic TSR modules of the late 1970s and early 1980s. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">A one-of-a-kind collection<\/h3>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">HDK decided to create a cassette collection of <em>Dan J. Schulte<\/em> &#8216;s D&amp;D-inspired productions, since these albums had never been released in physical format. <strong>&#8220;Shadow of the Underworld&#8221; Vol. 2<\/strong> offers nine underground exploration sessions, <strong>perfect for old-school dungeon-crawling fans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Artwork to match the music<\/h3>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">To enhance this production, HDK engaged <strong>PLASTIBOO<\/strong>, one of the most highly regarded <em>dungeon-devotee<\/em> artists of recent years.
