HDK 170 \u2020 JOHN REPPION & GNOLL “Faer the Wanderer”<\/strong> on cassette<\/strong> is an ambitious fusion of narrative, visual art<\/strong>, and dungeon-synth music<\/strong>, creating what could be called the first“Dungeon-synth Kolossal<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

This unique project was born from the collaboration between:<\/h2>\n

  • John Reppion<\/strong>, renowned English writer (co-author of Albion<\/em> and Wild Girl<\/em>), who created the character of Faer<\/em> and wrote three original stories.<\/li>\n
  • Samuel Allan<\/strong>, a London-based artist, who did the character design and created the action illustrations.<\/li>\n
  • GNOLL<\/strong>, the dungeon-synth ensemble that composed nearly an hour of music to give sonic life to Faer<\/em>‘s adventures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Faer the Wanderer is an homage to the heroic-fantasy paperbacks of the 1970s<\/strong>, with a touch of the “dark age” American comics of the early 1990s.<\/p>\n
