A Role Playing Game in Search of Translation

A few weeks ago, while traveling between planes of existence, I came across the unusual artifact you hold in your hands. It is an illustrated booklet, or “zyne,” of unknown origin, and written in an alphabet I cannot decipher. It would appear to be a manual of sorts, and looks curiously like the typical adventure games I have seen in the taverns of Melsonia, as well as bearing erudite references to the Fortle, a mysterious beast about which I am writing a travel report.
