Near a village with a rather unremarkable name lies the entrance to a dungeon, infamous among the locals. Legend has it that no one has ever emerged alive. That is the only certainty; all the rumors about what you’ll face inside are wildly varied and contradictory. This strange dungeon is actually a magical dungeon—the foolish (or amusing?) experiment of a diabolical 36th-level wizard: the dungeon is constantly changing, or perhaps it doesn’t even exist. But you don’t know that, and considering what you were told at the Inn of the Three Happy and Limping Kobolds, you might think: “Well, this is just some silly story made up by the villagers!” . Every dungeon holds priceless treasures, and these treasures—as always—will end up in your bountiful pockets! Ha, ha, ha! You wake up early in the morning feeling great and set off toward the spot where the entrance to this mysterious underground place is supposed to be.
