The first release from the tape-label Moonlit Castle Records is dedicated to an Italian artist who has been active since 1994: Sagenhaft returns after 10 years of silence to bring to life a romantic dream in the era of the Early Renaissance. These tracks are inspired by the “Hypnerotomachia Poliphili” (Poliphilo’s Contention of Love in a Dream), a 15th-century novel attributed to Francesco Colonna, an Italian Dominican priest and monk.
