Flames of Orion (Italian Edition)

In a dark and distant future, the stars have burned themselves out. Everything that once existed within the Orion Sector has fallen into darkness. Those who did not flee now fight over what little remains—or have simply gone mad in the endless void that surrounds them. Blood is spilled for things that no longer hold any meaning.

In an age when humanity should have stood united, it became its own greatest enemy. And so, the age of humankind came to an end, reduced to the ashes of the Flames of Orion. All will march slowly toward oblivion, entombed within their mechanical coffins. An age of darkness has begun.

Flames of Orion is a miniature wargame set in a dark future where players pilot towering war machines known as Mechs across the Orion Sector. Renegades, outlaws, and mercenaries plague the region. Years have passed, and the planets of the sector now lie beneath a veil of darkness and ill omens.

Players command a Combat Unit composed of four Mechs, battling across the shattered remains of dying worlds. Overheating systems, missiles streaking across the battlefield, and engines pushed to critical failure create a fast-paced, deadly experience built around a streamlined ruleset designed for campaign play. Use your favorite Mech miniatures or create your own to fight in the universe of Flames of Orion.

Flames of Orion marks the first collaboration between Nigredo Press and the Under the Dice team, creators of the independent fanzine dedicated to tabletop gaming, bringing together role-playing games, miniature wargames, art, music, and underground culture in a single publishing project with a dark and alternative spirit.
